SERENDiB COLLEGE

SERENDiB COLLEGE is the first-ever private Smart School in the Kandy District, built on a foundation of strong academic innovation.

SERENDiB COLLEGE was established in 2023 as an expansion of Science Academy SL (PVT) Ltd, a registered educational institute that has been educating thousands of students since 2016. Science Academy SL was founded by Shaham A. Ajward, currently a Plant Researcher at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

In 2023, the administration of Science Academy made a strategic leap by establishing a fully structured Advanced Level private school in Gampola under the name SERENDiB HiGH SCHOOL. The school introduced a residential A/L education model, offering a focused, disciplined, and results-driven learning environment.

Building on this proven success, in 2025, the management partnered with US-based investors to expand the institution into SERENDiB COLLEGE, extending admissions to Grades 6–11 alongside Advanced Level education.
