SPS Guitar Ensemble

St. Patrick’s School Guitar Ensemble (SPSGE) began in 2007. With only a few members back then, the ensemble have seen a tremendous growth over the years, not just in the number of guitarists, but also in the strength of the group. Under the baton of our resident conductor, Mr Ow Leong San, our members have developed in skill, experience and confidence and continue striving to be seasoned performers.

Mr Ow Leong San joined us in 2012 and played an instrumental role in restructuring the ensemble, enhancing its sound quality and music-making experience. Coupled with the hard work put in by our members, the ensemble has attained four consecutive Certificates of Distinctions during the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Presentations in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2023.

Every individual in the SPSGE family has displayed our school’s motto of Potest Qui Vult. The ensemble will continue to hone each member’s skill to deliver quality performances to our audience.
