The purpose of this channel is to present technical and historical info on various musical instrument amplifers and related vintage musical gear. Since I am currently working as the Musical Instrument Amplifier Engineering Manager at Peavey Electronics and likey the foremost historian on the subject, there will LOTS of Peavey related material, among other things, in full nerd mode. I do this partially to help bolster the brand and it's story but also because I am a lifelong Peavey fanatic who basically learned to read and write from Peavey's "The Monitor" trade magazine when my Mom (who worked at the guitar plant) started bringing me copies home in 1982. This led to me learning to build my own guitars which ultimately led me into a formal Electronics class and later a BSEE at Ole Miss in 1997; which only led me back home to Peavey as an Analog Design Engineer, where I've been for almost three decades now.
